  • Interview with Mr Didier Delhoux, Manager of the Canteen

The start of the new school year 2020-2021 hasn’t been easy for the services of the APEEE, who had to face a serious challenge in terms of management. Today we review the situation with Mr Didier Delhoux, the manager of the school canteen, who answers our questions.

  • IMPORTANT - Canteen useful information, September 2020

Please note that due to the safety measures agreed by the Wallonia-Bruxelles Federation and the EEB3, necessary adjustments have been implemented towards the daily service and the time schedule of the Canteen service.

We would therefore like to remind you that:

    • Soup, salad bars, daily vegetarian options are suspended
    • The Cafeteria service is suspended
    • The organisation and times of service have been rescheduled

Please read all information in the following web pages:

  • Canteen Badge, deposit payment online on MyAPEEE

Badge online payment from Monday 14 September

  • CANTEEN - Useful information September 2020
    • The occasional (daily) ticket is momentarily unavailable for classes S2 to S7.
    • Catering service in the Cafeteria is temporarily suspended.

    • Pupils who have problems with the badge (loss or theft) must go to the canteen secretariat between 11:00 and 11:30 (break).

    • The badge readers (recharging stations with coins or notes) are temporarily unavailable for reasons of hygiene.

    • The badges can be recharged with the on-line application .

  • Action - Distribution of foodstuffs against food waste

Supported by the school management, the Canteen has handed over several foodstuffs (water, fruit juice, milk, biscuits, etc.) with expiry dates in June and July 2020 to the Nursery-Primary and Secondary secretariats, who will distribute them to the pupils in compliance with all safety measures. With this action the Canteen aims to avoid an unnecessary waste of quality products, which unfortunately would not be consumed due to the closure of the canteen, and from which our children will benefit!

  • Info - March menus

  • Buckwheat Crumble, a delicious vegetarian suggestion for Thursday, March 12th!

Our chef Yanis, author of this new recipe, reveals its history and secrets:

“Buckwheat crumble is a vegetarian recipe that I discovered while browsing a site dedicated to canteens with a vegetarian approach.

  • Invitation to parents to eat at the Canteen - Would you like to have lunch with your child and try out our Canteen menu?

Parents and tutors whose children are enrolled in the Canteen and are fully up to date with their subscription are welcome to visit the Canteen to share this moment with them.

One free meal per family per semester is available on request to the APEEE Canteen office (cantine@apeeeb3.be) at least two working days before the desired date and after the Canteen Manager’s confirmation.
